JaCoi James began her education with the University of North Texas in Denton and finished up her Bachelor of Business Administration degree locally at the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona.  Over the years, JaCoi has built long-lasting careers while being employed at the Department of Treasury for nearly 8 years and also as a Learning & Development Manager at Kronos, a software development company based in Massachusetts.​

Outside of her small-business consulting practice, J&K Solutions, she is also a published author of The Single Mother’s Path to Wealth” which highlights single mothers who have a desire to acquire wealth. She is also co-founder and President of the non-profit organization, Black Women’s Wall Street, based in Mansfield, Texas. Black Women’s Wall Street’s mission is to empower black women and the community we serve by providing training on business principles and financial literacy. In addition to financial literacy, JaCoi is an established tax preparer offering her services to individuals and families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
